Donald L. Heitzman

Donald L. Heitzman, 87 of Mishawaka, IN., passed away at 1:24 p.m. Monday, September 12, 2022 at Creekside Village Mishawaka.

Don was born on August 25, 1935 in Dayton, OH to Harry and Martha (Miller) Heitzman.                                                                                

Don graduated from Fairview High School in 1953 and attended Manchester College. Don studied music and sang with the Manchester A Cappella Choir. Don graduated from Kalamazoo Valley Community College with an Associate Degree in Applied Science. Don worked at Elkhart General Hospital and retired from St. Joseph Regional Medical Center as a Respiratory Therapist.

Don was preceded in death by his wife Jacquelyn Curtis Long in 2002.

Don belonged to United Commercial Travelers since 1975 serving as Senior Counselor of Elkhart Chapter and Grand Counselor of the State Organization for Indiana.

Don attended Crest Manor Church of the Brethren.

Graveside services for Don will be on Friday, September 16^th at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola, IN.
