Dorothy V. (Minzey) Bice

Dorothy V. Bice, 89 years old, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Belltower Health & Rehab in Granger. She was born November 16, 1931 in Mishawaka to the late George and Daisy (Weber) Minzey. On September 27, 1952 in Mishawaka, Dorothy married the love of her life, Elden Bice, who survives. 

Dorothy was a lifelong resident of Michiana. Dorothy was very family oriented always making time for her grandchildren. She loved anytime her whole family would get together, particularly when they would go camping. She also loved flowers and gardening, as well as painting lawn statues.

Along with her loving husband, Elden, Dorothy is survived by her children, Sue (Don) Vantzelfde of Paw Paw, MI, Ken Bice of Granger and Paul Bice of Granger; grandchildren, Rachel, Rebecca, Leandra, Susie, Greg, and Stephen; and great-grandchildren, Phillip, Ethan, Aidan, Zane and Brendan. Dorothy is also survived by her sister, Genie Beehler. 

Along with her parents, George and Daisy, Dorothy is preceded in death by her daughter, Luann Stroup; and sisters, Fern Mark and Mary Berndt.

Funeral services will be 3:00pm Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Palmer Funeral Homes-Bubb Chapel, 3910 N Main St, Mishawaka 46545. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00pm-3:00pm at the funeral homes.
