Douglas B. Strasser

Douglas B. Strasser, 52 years old, passed away surrounded by his loving family at 3:29 am on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at his home in South Bend. Doug was born on November 17, 1969, in South Bend to Estel W. Strasser and Joan (Carol) Strasser. On December 5, 2005, in the Philippines, Doug, and Frensarmie were united in marriage. Doug worked in the manufacturing industry for many years at CTE Solutions. Doug lived his entire life as a resident of South Bend. 

Along with his loving wife, Frensarmie, of 17 years, Doug is survived by his mother, Joan (Carol) Strasser and stepmother, Sharon Strasser; brothers, Mike Strasser, Wayne Strasser, Larry (Dorris) Strasser, Raymond Strasser, John (Peggy) Strasser, and Steve Edmonds; sisters, Francess (John) Moorehouse, Karen (Jim) Demarest, Tina Strasser, and Tammy (Lester) Dant; sons, Kevin Strasser, Dustin Strasser, Douglas Strasser Ⅱ, and David Strasser; daughters, Hannah Strasser, Molly Strasser, and Nichole-Shayne Strasser. Doug was preceded in death by his father, Estel W. Strasser. 

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 7, 2022, at Palmer Funeral Home – Guisinger Chapel, 3718 South Michigan St. South Bend, IN. Friends may visit with the family beginning at 11:00 am on Friday at the funeral home.
