Ms. Edith Veronica Scheibelhut, 62, passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend. Edith was born on October 16, 1956 in Mishawaka, IN to Lee and Eral Jane (Milewski) Swann. At her time of passing, Edith was employed as a clothing inspector for Goodwill Industries. She was a life-long resident of the area and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Edith is survived by her daughters, Lura Scheibelhut of Mishawaka and Jonaca Scheibelhut of South Bend; grandchildren Gage Rosa, Dilan Sheibelhut and Kie Nawrocki; brother Dennis (Ada) Swann of South Bend; nephews Nick and Jacob Swann; as well as close friend Sandy Aberegg of South Bend. Edith was preceded in death by her parents.

Per the family’s wishes, no public services will be held. The family may choose to gather privately at a later date to celebrate Edith’s life. Palmer Funeral Home – West Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. Online expressions of sympathy may be left at www.palmerfuneralhomes.com.
