Enedina Hernandez Sohlke

Enedina Sohlke, 47, of South Bend, Indiana passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at her home. Enedina was born on August 1, 1973 in South Bend, to Francisco and Maria (DeLeon) Hernandez, and was a lifelong resident of this area, where she worked as an insurance agent. 

Enedina is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Sohlke of South Bend; her sister Nelda (Roy) Vega of South Bend; two brothers, Francisco (Casandra) Hernandez Jr. and Israel Hernandez both of South Bend; aunts and uncles, Robert (Sally) Hernandez, Juan (Maria) Hernandez, Maggie Hernandez-Canul, Javier (Mary) DeLeon, and Valentine Garza; ex-husband David Allen Sohlke and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Francisco, and daughter Bella Marie Sohlke.

Enedina had a passion for crocheting. She also enjoyed dancing, singing, and taking selfies, but most of all she loved her large family. She saw the good in everyone and would open her heart to them. 

A memorial service will be held at Our Lady of Hungry in South Bend on Monday, October 19th at 10:00 am for family and friends to celebrate the life of Enedina Hernandez Sohlke. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.palmerfuneralhomes.com
