Eugene Turner

Eugene Turner, 74, residing in South Bend, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021, in his home. He was born May 16, 1947, in South Bend to the late Henry McNeil and Cleora (Brown) Turner and remained a lifelong area resident.

On May 22, 1965, in South Bend, Eugene married Carol A. Turner, who survives. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by sons, Rodney Turner, Sr., Ronald Turner and Brian Turner; daughter, Marla Turner; sister, Eva Turner; three brothers; and nine grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Eugene was preceded in death by his parents and six brothers.

Eugene was employed by Honeywell for 45 years before retiring in 2010.

A celebration of Eugene’s life will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, May 21, 2022 in the Greater Holy Temple and Joy Center, 710 E. Napoleon Street, South Bend, IN 46617. Palmer Funeral Home – Hickey Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
