Everett Ray Leedy, 78, of Goshen, Indiana, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2026.
He was born August 29, 1947, in Elkhart, Indiana, to Everett Roscoe Leedy and Marie Culp Leedy. Everett proudly served his country in the United States Army and spent many years working as an automotive machine operator. He was known as a hardworking man who was deeply devoted to his family.
Everett enjoyed cheering on Notre Dame Fighting Irish football and the Chicago Cubs. He also loved spending time at the casino and playing bingo. Above all, Everett cherished time with his family and took great pride in being a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Leedy; his children, Tamara Smith (Jeff), Todd Leedy (Amy), and Troy Leedy; his grandchildren, Katlynn, Makelle, Alyson, Lindsay, Tylor, Madison, Brandon, and Matthew; and his great-grandchildren, Jennasen, Kendrix, Zayden, Kaelyn, Jaxon and Esme. He is also survived by his siblings, Carl Leedy, Shirley Goff, and Jim Leedy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett Roscoe and Marie; and his siblings, Ken, John, Wayne, and Leona Fay.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 5:45 p.m., at Palmer Funeral Home – Bubb Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cherish Hospice of Warsaw, Indiana.
Everett will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his love for sports and simple pleasures, and most of all for the deep love he had for his family.
