Gary Dean Monaghan Jr., 43, was taken from us unexpectedly after a tragic accident in Mishawaka, from being struck by a train.
Gary was born in Watertown, New York on November 28, 1980, to Gary Dean Monaghan, Sr. and the late Debbie Sue Decker Monaghan. He was also preceded in death by an infant brother.
Gary attended Carthage High School in New York and then joined the U.S. Army in 1999. He was a manager of Cheers Bar and Grill in Roseland, Indiana.
Gary enjoyed traveling and cooking all types of exquisite meals. He was a great electrician; hardworking and was never afraid to get his hands dirty. Gary had a great sense of humor. One of Gary’s greatest joys was being Grandpa. He met a lot of people in his lifetime and had a huge heart. He will be greatly missed by his friends, family and everyone that knew him.
