Geoffrey M. Moore, a beloved husband, father, son, and brother, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023, in South Bend, Indiana, at the age of 48. Born on March 26, 1975, in Elkhart, Indiana, he was a son of Michael D. Moore and Dorothy (Gard) Jordan. Geoffrey was a man of passion and friendliness, touching the lives of many with his warmth and kindness.

A 1994 graduate of Clay High School, Geoffrey's love for sports, particularly baseball, was evident early in his life. After high school, he attended Valparaiso University for three years, where he continued to excel in baseball and was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha social fraternity. His athletic prowess earned him several NIC baseball awards, and he was recognized as an all-state pitcher during his high school days. His love for the sport remained a constant throughout his life, leading him to give back to his community as a coach and mentor for Eastside Little League and Michiana Repetition Baseball.

Geoffrey is survived by his loving wife, Sari J. (Salmon) Moore of South Bend, IN; his cherished children, Makinzie L. Moore and Ayden M. Moore, both of South Bend, IN; his father, Michael D. (Diana K.) Moore of South Bend, IN; his mother, Dorothy Jordan of South Bend, IN; his brothers, Matthew A. (Sara) Moore of WI, Kyle W. (Ashleigh) Moore of South Bend, IN, Ryan J. Moore of Indianapolis, IN, and Scott R. (Sahar) Moore of Detroit, MI; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Jennifer Moore.

Beyond his athletic and coaching pursuits, Geoffrey was a passionate fan of University of Michigan football, often spending his weekends cheering on his favorite team. His enthusiasm was infectious, and he was known to inspire others with his unwavering support and loyalty to the team. His love for the sport extended beyond the professional scene, as he was also a dedicated coach and mentor, teaching the values of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship to the youth in his community.

Geoffrey will be remembered for his infectious smile, his deep love for his family, and his unwavering dedication to his community. His legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known him, and his memory will forever be cherished by all who loved him.
