George William Miltenberger Jr.

George William Miltenberger Jr., age 64, of Edwardsburg, Michigan, passed away on July 23, 2026. He was born on June 27, 1962, in South Bend, Indiana, and lived a life marked by hard work, devotion to family, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors.

George was the beloved son of the late George Miltenberger Sr. and the late Theresa (Derucki) Miltenberger. He was also the cherished life partner of Robin O’Brien, with whom he shared more than 30 years of love, companionship, and family. Together, they built a life centered on loyalty, laughter, and the many memories that come from years spent side by side. He was a proud father to his son, Louis O’Brien, and he treasured the role of being a father throughout his life. He is also survived by his sister, Tina (Bill) Schaal.

George attended John Adams High School and carried the values of perseverance and responsibility with him throughout his life. He spent more than 30 years working at Genesis Molding as an injection molding maintence technician, where he was known for his strong work ethic, dependability, and steady presence. His long career reflected the kind of man he was, one who took pride in doing his job well and who earned the respect of those who worked alongside him.

Outside of work, George was happiest when he was outdoors. He was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time in nature whenever he could. He loved riding snowmobiles and motorcycles in Michigan, and he especially enjoyed going to Mellville Campground, where he found relaxation and enjoyment in the simple pleasures of life. One of his favorite pastimes was taking deep sea fishing trips down in Cape Canaveral, Florida, where he looked forward to the adventure and the memories made on the water.

At this time, according to George’s wishes, there will be no services. Palmer Funeral Home – Bubb Chapel is honored to be assisting the family with final arrangements.
