Glenn C. Billhimer, 75, a lifelong resident of South Bend passed away on Monday May 25, 2026, at home.
Glenn was born on February 7, 1951, in South Bend to the late Milford and Mary (Ullery) Billhimer. Glenn graduated from Andrew Jackson High School and attended Southwestern Michigan college eventually serving as a station mechanic for AEP.
On February 16, 1974, he married the love of his life, Dianna Sausman, sharing 52 years together.
Glenn had a wonderful sense of humor- able to lighten the mood in the room at any time, sometimes you never knew what would come out of his mouth. He loved to fish especially on Lake St Clair and Ice fishing . In his earlier years he enjoyed riding his bike and his Harley. He loved trips to Sand Key Florida. Most of all though, he loved his family and his friends. He was always there for those he loved and he will be sorely missed.
Glenn is survived by his love, Dianna Billhimer, his children; Amy Billhimer and Jeffry Billhimer, his grandchildren; Cameron and Amber, and his dogs. He is also survived by a sister in law Jodeane Hoffer ,Aunt Betty, nieces , nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will held at St Paul’s 3602 South Ironwood South Bend , Indiana 46614. June 13 ,2026 from 12 to 3:00 PM
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Glenn’s name may be made to Caring Cove Hospice who provided excellent loving care for Glenn and his family.
