Harry Blevins, age 77, of Buchanan, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025. He was born on January 3, 1948, to the late Harry W. Blevins and Martha K. (Smith) Blevins.
Harry was a proud graduate of Buchanan High School and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University. He honorably served his country as a member of the United States Navy. Following his service, Harry built a successful career as a business owner, applying his determination, creativity, and strong work ethic to everything he pursued.
A true nature lover, Harry found peace and joy in the outdoors. He especially enjoyed nature photography and traveling, capturing the beauty of the world through his lens. His appreciation for quiet landscapes and natural wonders was a defining part of who he was.
Harry is survived by his daughter, Laura Blevins; his son, Josh (Tia) Blevins; and his eight beloved grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sister, Phyllis Blevins, and his brother, Lloyd Blevins. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Tanner and Neal Blevins.
In keeping with Harry’s wishes, cremation will take place, and he will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Buchanan.
