Helen E Pecsi

Helen E. Pecsi, 97, of South Bend, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Memorial Hospital.

Helen was born July 15, 1922 in South Bend, Indiana.

Helen worked for South Bend Toy and in the mailroom at Notre Dame. She was a long standing member of the William Penn Association as well as a lifetime member of the VFW.

Surviving is a son; Robert (Marilyn) Horvath of Mishawaka; two grandchildren, Michael (Michelle) Horvath and Michele Seymour (Ryan); three great-grandchildren, Max, Junah, and Cian.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Marcela (Nemeth) Horvath and her husband, John Pecsi.

Funeral services for Helen will be at 12:00 PM Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Palmer Funeral Home – Guisinger Chapel, 3718 South Michigan Street, South Bend, with Pastor Ben Webb officiating.

Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
