Holly Wallace Obituary

Holly Nicole Wallace, age 41, of Mishawaka, Indiana, passed away on April 1, 2026, in the city where she was born on February 12, 1985. She was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend whose life was marked by kindness, devotion, and a deep love for the people and animals around her.

Holly was born in Mishawaka to Terry Wallace and Deloris (Taghon) Wallace. She grew up surrounded by family and carried those bonds with her throughout her life. She was a proud graduate of Mishawaka High School, Class of 2003, and she remained connected to the community that helped shape her. Holly spent many years working as a dog groomer, a profession that reflected her gentle nature and her natural affection for animals. She had a special way with pets and found joy in caring for them with patience and compassion.

Holly loved animals dearly and found happiness in the simple, meaningful moments of life. She especially enjoyed fishing with her dad at Potato Creek State Park, where time together became treasured memories. She also loved bonfires with her family, where laughter, conversation, and togetherness filled the evening air. Above all else, Holly cherished time with her son, Connor, and being his mother was one of the greatest joys of her life. Her love for him was constant, strong, and evident to all who knew her.

She is survived by her son, Connor Smith; her father, Terry Wallace; her mother, Deloris (Taghon) Wallace; her sister, Amanda (Garth) Taylor; her brother, Joshua (Briannia) Wallace; her nieces, Ali Taylor, Aubrey Taylor, and Liliyana Wallace; her nephew, Ethan Wallace; her great niece, Raelynn; her aunt, Judy Harder; her aunt, Nancy (James) Gemmer; her uncle, Edward (Dee) Wallace; and eight loving cousins. She was preceded in death by her cousin, Brian Gemmer, and her uncle, Bruce Harder.
