Horacio Reyes Miramontes Obituary
Horacio Reyes Miramontes, 32, residing in South Bend, passed away unexpectedly following a car accident in New Carlisle on Sunday, October 13, 2019. He was born October 11, 1987 in Cienega Grande, Mezquitic, Mexico to Pedro Reyes Miramontes and Petra Miramontes Ruiz.
Horacio moved to South Bend in 2003 coming from Mexico. He worked at Best-One Tire & Service of South Bend prior to his death. He was a member of St. Adalbert Catholic Church, South Bend.
Surviving Horacio are his parents, Pedro & Petra Reyes Miramontes of Cienega Grande, Mezquitic, Jalisco, Mexico; daughter, Shyla Reyes DeLanda; sisters, Senaida (Carlos Navarrete) Reyes Miramontes, Erika (Rodolfo Buenrostro) Reyes Miramontes, Nancy (Alfredo Pacheco) Reyes Miramontes, Lorena (Ricardo Campos) Reyes Miramontes and Esmeralda Reyes Miramontes; and brothers, Ruben Reyes Miramontes, Mauricio Reyes Miramontes and Abelardo Reyes Miramontes; as well as his maternal grandmother, Rita Ruiz Rosales. Additionally, he is survived by six nephews, five nieces, four maternal uncles, four paternal uncles, three maternal aunts, four paternal aunts, 26 maternal cousins and 35 paternal cousins. Horacio was preceded in death by one brother, Matias Reyes Miramontes.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Monday, October 28, 2019 in St. Adalbert Catholic Church, 2505 W. Grace Street, South Bend, IN 46619. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 – 6:00 PM Sunday, October 27, 2019 in the Palmer Funeral Home – West Chapel, 2702 Lincolnway West, South Bend, where a rosary will be recited at 5:00 pm. Horacio will be buried in the Cemetery at Cienega Grande, Mezquitic, Jalisco, Mexico.
