Irene E. Anderson

Irene E. Anderson, 92, of South Bend, IN passed away at 9:22 p.m. Friday, May 22, 2015 at Southfield Village.   She was born on October 5, 1922 in Bremen, IN to the late Wallace and Mary (Elbode) Boocher.  On March 30, 1946 in South Bend, IN she was united in marriage to Paul H. Anderson who preceded her in death on May 25, 1987.  She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Lloyd W. Boocher, James A. Boocher, and Richard C. Boocher.

Mrs. Anderson is survived by two sons, James A. (Dian) Anderson of Berea, KY and David W. (Judith) Anderson of Olathe, KS; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; sister, Leona V. Fisher of South Bend, IN and one brother, Elmer E. (Margie) Boocher of South Bend, IN.  

Mrs. Anderson was a lifelong area resident. 

Private funeral services will be held at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St. South Bend, IN.   Burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.
