Jacqueline L. Tetzlaff, 90 years old, passed away at 3:38 a.m. on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Tetzlaff was born on May 24, 1933 in Washburn, WI to the late Herbert and Elsie (Campbell) Kesler. She has been a lifelong resident of Greene Township. On March 21, 1952 in South Bend, Jacqueline and Raymond A. Tetzlaff were united in marriage. Raymond preceded his wife in death on June 3, 2015 after 63 years of marriage. Jacqueline was also preceded in death by her daughter, Tami Jane Tetzlaff, in 1966; and her son-in-law, Gregg Marshall, in 1999.
Mrs. Tetzlaff is survived by her four children, Pamela Marshall of South Bend, Roger “Michael” (Marie) Tetzlaff of North Liberty, Daniel (Judy Holderbaum) Tetzlaff of Cameron, MO, and Ty Ray (Jean Marie) Tetzlaff of O’Fallon, MO; seven grandchildren, Justina (Larry) Roper, Tim (Lanita) Tetzlaff, Dane (Daniell) Tetzlaff, Jim (Kendra) Tetzlaff, Nick Tetzlaff, Tyler (Jasmin) Tetzlaff, and Abby (Nolan) Walsh; and thirteen great grandchildren. Mrs. Tetzlaff is also survived by her brother, Jay (Janie) Kesler of Upland, IN; and two sisters, Beverly (Don) Eckhart of South Bend and Kathe (Gil) Nichols of Goshen.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan Street, South Bend. Graveside services and burial will follow at Sumption Prairie Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Friends may also visit with the family beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
