James W. Boyle, Jr.

James W. “Jim” Boyle, Jr., 71, of Mishawaka, Indiana passed away at 8:38 p.m. on Friday, April 30, 2021 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka, Indiana.  Jim was employed as a Security Guard. He was born on February 25, 1950 in New Castle, Pennsylvania to James W. Sr. and Edith M. (Flickinger) Boyle.  Jim moved to Mishawaka in 1976, coming from Yuma, Arizona.  On October 1, 2007 in Mishawaka, Indiana he married Connie L. (Sandefur) Boyle, who preceded him in death on May 17, 2015.

Jim is survived by his children, Robert Lee (Toni) Nelson, Jimmy Boyle, Larry (Tamara) Sandefur, Lola Beasley, all of Mishawaka, and Heather Renee (Don) Magee of Granger; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his loving companion, Pauline Alvarez of South Bend.

Jim was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Mishawaka. 

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 7, 2021 at Palmer Funeral Home-River Park Chapel, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, where friends may visit with the family one hour prior to services. Burial will follow in Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend, IN.
