James Edward Geyer

James Edward Geyer, 88 years old, passed away at 6:00 a.m. on Monday, July 13, 2020 at his home while surrounded by his loving family.  Mr. Geyer was born on August 15, 1931 in South Bend to the late Cloyd and Blanche (Scott) Geyer.  He has remained a lifelong resident of South Bend.  On June 1, 1974 in South Bend, James and Barbara Ann Hall were united in marriage. 

Along with his loving wife, Barbara, of 46 years, survivors include one daughter, Theresa Morningstar of South Bend; son, Pat (Sharon) Geyer of California; three grandchildren, Stephanie (Marc) Hilgers, Heidi (Kyle Retek) Chudzicki, and Eric (Elissa) Chudzicki; and four great grandchildren, Kylie Hilgers, Harper Chudzicki, Piper Chudzicki, and Willow Chudzicki.  Along with his parents, two sons, Mike and Bobby Geyer, preceded him in death.

Private services will be held.  Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel is assisting the family.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of James E. Geyer may be donated to Elara Caring, 900 S.
