James Ketara Obituary

James Allen Ketara, age 53, of South Bend, IN, passed away at his home on Thursday evening, November 18, 2021. James was a chef and worked for a few of the local establishments in South Bend and Elkhart. In San Diego, CA, he was the head chef and operations manager of APEX Recovery -- winning employee of the year in 2019.

James was born on January 7, 1968 in Baltimore, MD, and has lived in this area since January, coming from San Diego, CA. On July 10, 2000 in Las Vegas, he married Stacy Zellner who survives.

Also surviving is his mother, Lynn Ketara of California, MD, as well as two sons, Pierce Ketara of South Bend and Timothy Spencer, stationed in San Diego, CA. James' father, Charles Ketara, preceded him in death.
