James Taylor Obituary

James W. Taylor, 55 years old, passed away at 5:45 a.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka. James was born on February 8, 1966 in Chicago, IL to the late Lloyd George and Jerri Anita (Allison) Taylor. He was a resident of Edwardsburg, MI.

James is survived by his daughter, Jamie A. Taylor of LaPorte, IN; and sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Marty Kooy of South Bend.

James was an avid Ham Radio Operator. He proudly served his country with the United States Army. James was a very humble person. He had a kind and compassionate spirit and lived life with courage, strength and passion. James enjoyed his many house plants, riding his bike scooter, and watching sci-fi movies.

A celebration service honoring the life of James W. Taylor will be held in the future to be determined. Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, South Bend is assisting the family.
