Jason Edward Sebasty

Jason Edward Sebasty, 45, of Niles, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Franciscan Health in Michigan City, Indiana.

Born on April 9, 1981, in Niles, Michigan, Jason was the son of Dwight Sebasty and Tammy (Rockwell) Sebasty. He was a graduate of Galien High School.

Jason was a skilled mechanic who worked in the automotive industry. A true tradesman, he was known for his ability to fix just about anything and took pride in his work as a mechanic and carpenter. He had a passion for Indian motorcycles and enjoyed spending time working with his hands, whether repairing vehicles or building projects.

Jason is survived by his parents, Dwight and Tammy Sebasty; his sisters, Jessica (Rob), Becky (Devin); his brother, Chad (Telma); his girlfriend, Erika Woods; and his stepdaughters, Jasmine, Saige and Hanna, whom he loved dearly, along with a host of extended family and friends. 

Jason will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his mechanical talents, and the love he shared with his family and friends. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
