Jeff Lafferty was an amazing man. He lived life to its fullest. He believed that life was short and that sweating the small stuff was not worth it. Jeff believed that "Family" was everything. Family was everyone to Jeff. He accepted everyone for who they were. It did not matter if you were 5 or 90 years old, Jeff cared, loved and respected everyone.
He was the Husband, Dad, Son, Brother, and Friend that was always there day or night when he was needed or could help. He loved family and hockey (no kidding). He loved to spend quality time with his kids most of all. When the kids would be off doing who knows what, he called them just to hear their voice. He made it to countless school and sporting events and was never late. Jeff was there for family gatherings, holidays and birthdays. He showed his love for life and family in everything he did, even while fighting cancer.
Jeff was selfless, and it was never about what he wanted but rather what YOU needed. He also shared these same values to the kids that he coached and mentored during hockey. His love for life and the game was shared with his kids both on and outside the rink.
Jeff's favorite quote is "Attack each day with an enthusiasm unknown to mankind" -Jim Harbaugh This quote was Jeff, living life to the fullest filled with laughter, kindness and love.
We will ALL miss you. Until we meet again Husband, Dad, Son, Brother, and Friend, WE LOVE YOU.
