Jessica N. (Flowers) Vance

Jessica N. Vance, age 36, passed away unexpectedly at her home on May 30, 2026.

Born on June 27, 1989, in Mishawaka, Indiana, Jessica was the beloved daughter of Bruce and Helen (Simon) Flowers. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend whose love for her family was at the center of her life. Jessica worked as a waitress and was known for her caring heart, warm smile, and willingness to help others. She cherished the time she spent with her family and created lasting memories with those she loved most.

On October 5, 2021, Jessica married Joshua Vance, who survives. Also surviving are her child, Jaden Alexander Flowers; her siblings, Stefanie Flowers, Katie Flowers, and Alan Flowers; grandfather, Mohamed Simon, Sr.; numerous nieces and nephews; and her dog, Athena. She was preceded in death by her father, Bruce Flowers; grandmothers, Rosella Flowers and Ann Simon; and daughter, Kathryn Nicole Willoughby.

Jessica will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched with her kindness, strength, and love.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., at Southlawn Cemetery, 61300 U.S. 31 S., South Bend, IN 46614.  A Celebration of Life Luncheon will immediately follow at F.O.P. Lodge #36 25237 State Road 23, South Bend, IN.
