Jo Ann (Horn) Orr

Jo Ann (Horn) Orr, 69, of Mishawaka, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Brickyard Healthcare in Mishawaka.

Born on September 3, 1956, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Jo Ann spent her life building connections with others through her work and her warm, outgoing personality. As an entrepreneur, she owned and operated businesses in the restaurant, hotel, and video store industries. She took pride in serving her community and the relationships she built throughout her career.

Jo Ann will be remembered as an outstanding person who truly never met a stranger. She loved spending time at the lake, talking with family and friends, laughing, and making people smile. She had a special affection for dogs and found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her generous spirit and fun-loving nature left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She is survived by her loving children, Kristin (Josh) Reichert of South Bend, Indiana; Jessica Orr of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and Wesley (Christine) Orr of Angola, Indiana. She was also a proud grandmother to three cherished grandchildren: Samarah (Gabel) Pentecost, Dawson, and Neveah, who brought great happiness to her life.

Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Jay and Virginia (Chandler) Horn.
