OSCEOLA – Jo Ann Sexton-Moore, 52, residing in Osceola, Indiana passed away at 8:20 PM Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Elkhart General Hospital following a courageous 20 year battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

Jo Ann was born on September 30, 1963 in South Bend to Daniel Sexton, Sr. and Marcia Frost.  She was a 1982 graduate of Mishawaka High School and attended three years at Bethel College, Mishawaka, before moving to California.  While living in California she worked as a Statistical Analyst Researcher for McGraw Hill.

On September 30, 1987 in Pacific Grove, CA she was united in marriage to Patrick O. Moore, who survives.  Patrick and Jo Ann were married for 28 years and she was the love of Patrick’s life.  Jo Ann enjoyed collecting jewelry and shopping online, and especially loved shopping for clothes.

Along with her parents, Daniel Sexton, Sr. of Mishawaka and Marcia Frost of Granger; Jo Ann is survived by husband, Patrick Moore of Osceola; son, Joshua Patrick Moore of Osceola; sisters, Sharon Sexton of South Bend and Ashlyn (Jason) McCollum of Elkhart; brothers, Daniel (Lonnay) Sexton, Jr. of Mishawaka, Paul Sexton of Wisconsin, Tom (Tia) Sexton of South Bend, and Nick Sexton of Mishawaka.

Funeral services for Jo Ann Sexton-Moore will be at 12:00 Noon Friday, October 30, 2015 at Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, IN 46615, where friends may visit with the family two hours prior to services (10:00 AM till 12:00 Noon).  Pastor Mike Cramer of New Life Church, Osceola will officiate.  Graveside services will follow at South Union Cemetery, Nappanee, IN.  Memorial contributions may be made to National Multiple Sclerosis Indiana Chapter, 7301 Georgetown Road, Suite 112, Indianapolis, IN 46268.  Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.palmerfuneralhomes.com.
