John Aller Sr.

John Patrick Aller Sr, 75, passed away on 9/17/2022 in his home in Mishawaka, Indiana.  He was born on 9/3/1947 in Elkhart IN to Loren and Betty (Hosler) Aller. 

John is survived by his sons John (Marsha) Aller JR and Steven (Jennifer) Aller, his sister Jeanne Aller, his daughter Angie (Aaron) Mason and son Michael (Carol) Kauffman; his grandchildren Michael Aller, Brett (Chelsea) Aller, Stephanie Aller, Laura (Garret) LaCluyse, Andrew Mason, Codi Eighmie; great grandchildren Presley Aller and Campbell LaCluyse.

He was proceeded in death by his father Loren Aller and his mother Betty Aller and his companion of 15 years, Carol Balentine.

John proudly served in the US Army, 1^st Cavalry Division, in the Vietnam War.  After being discharged from the Army he worked in the construction industry.  John enjoyed fishing, bowling, golf, fast pitch softball, basketball, and spending time with family and friends.  He also enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports.

At John’s request, his body has been donated to Indiana University Anatomical Education Program. 

There will be a celebration of life at Bethany Missionary Church (56295 County Road 1, Elkhart) in the fellowship hall on Sunday, October 9^th from 2-4pm.  All are welcome to join and celebrate John’s life together.
