John Alden Felabom, 78, of Granger, Indiana, passed away on March 6, 2026, at 5:54 p.m. at BellTower Health & Rehabilitation.
John was born on August 7, 1947, in Mishawaka, Indiana, to Alden Felabom and Juanita (Wooten) Felabom Odle. On June 3, 1972, he married Angela (Winkowski) Felabom, who survives.
ohn spent his career in the insurance and real estate industry and was the owner of the Winkowski Felabom Agency. He was known for his strong work ethic and dedication to serving his clients and community.
Outside of work, John had many passions. He loved gardening and was an avid beekeeper. He was actively involved in local agricultural and educational programs, serving as a superintendent for 4-H beekeeping and as a director for the Clay Township 4-H Fair. His enthusiasm for horticulture and beekeeping led him to become a Master Gardener, and he enjoyed sharing his knowledge with others.
John is survived by his wife, Angela Felabom; his sons, Courtney (Heather) Felabom of Henderson, Nevada, Christian “Chris” (Angel) Felabom of Kennesaw, Georgia, and Carey Felabom of Granger, Indiana; and four grandchildren, Kenley, Kira, Winston, and Lincoln. He is also survived by his sister, Sandra Paszli of Aurora, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Per John’s wishes, there will not be any services.
John will be remembered for his love of family, his dedication to his community, and the joy he found in gardening and caring for his bees.
