John Paul Larkin Sr.

John Paul Larkin, Sr., 48, residing in Osceola, Indiana passed away Sunday, April 14, 2019 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend.

John was born on August 10, 1970 in South Bend, IN to Joseph W. Larkin and Donna K. (Purnell) Fisette and has been a lifelong resident of the South Bend area, graduating from Mishawaka High School.  Following high school, John proudly served our country in the United States Army, and later became a Quality Inspector for several area companies.  He enjoyed bowling and throwing darts, and was in several Bowling and Dart Leagues.  John was also an avid fan of Notre Dame Football.

On January 3, 2013 in South Bend, John was united in marriage to Dawn M. (Phillips) Larkin, who survives.  Also surviving are daughters, Ally Larkin of Nevada, and Janet Larkin of South Bend; son John P. Larkin of South Bend; grandchildren, Lucas and Gracelynn Larkin; mother, Donna K. Fisette of South Bend; sisters, Christina (Thomas) Denton of Andrews, IN, Kimberly Milenberger, Tracey Marshall, Jennifer Larkin, and Sheila Teeter all of South Bend; brother David Fisette (Jeannie) of Goshen; plus many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.  John was preceded in death by his father, Joseph W. Larkin.

A “Gathering Celebrating John’s Life” will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at Z B Falcons, 323 S. Sheridan Street, South Bend, IN 46619 beginning at 4:00 pm  - 8:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Palmer Funeral Home River Park Chapel, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, IN 46615 to assist the family with funeral expenses.  Online condolences may be expressed to the family on this webpage.
