John Edward Wolff, age 81, of Osceola, passed away Wednesday morning at Woodland Manor in Elkhart, IN. Early in his career, John worked for Adams Westlake in Elkhart and retired from Mishawaka Utilities as a Wellhead Protection Coordinator after 20 years of service. John was born on July 23, 1942 to the late Marius and Retha (Martin) Wolff and lived most of his life in this area. On November 2, 1962, at the Cedar Road Missionary Church, he married Antoinette “Tony” Barone who preceded him in death. John graduated from Mishawaka High School class of 1960.
Survivors include a daughter, Paula Bongiovanni of Mishawaka, a son, Scott (Dianne) Wolff of Indianapolis, three grandchildren, one great granddaughter, two nephews, and a brother, Michael (Karen) Wolff of Osceola. A grandson preceded John in death.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26th at the Palmer Funeral Home – River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, IN 46615. Pastor Chris Rowe from Apostolic Temple will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday. Burial will follow at the Olive Cemetery.
