Jack was a loyal friend , and never failed to keep in touch with his South Shore friends. We tried to keep up with him when we were up for basketball games at Notre Dame. He had a great sense of humor & loved his children. He was married to two wonderful women. We will all miss him.

Laura, John and Mike

I have so many fond memories of your Dad at your house. Since he and my Dad were raised in the same area he knew where my Dad went to school. He would sing a little ditty about Delasalle. Makes me smile when I remember those times.

My contact with Mr. Geary was from growing up down the street from the Geary family. I have vivid memories of various times as a child of Mr. Geary ( as a child always Mr. Geary never John or Jack) with times at the THCC pool or just as a neighbor. As a child you never realize the impact people or events have on your life, but until the day I die I was always here a bell ringing around dinner or in the evening playing in the neighborhood. All knew that was The Geary's bell. I am sure Jack will be missed by his family, but he did live a long full life. My families prayers are with them during this sad time.

I am shocked to hear of my old old friend Jack passing. We go back to the days in South Shore. I loved his mom and dad who were so nice to me. I could tell stories for hours if anyone would let me about all the good times we shared. I am sure my wife Carol Ann will meet him in heaven above and watch over me. I will keep him in my daily prayers.
