Jonathan Alexander Jr., aged 43, a lifelong resident of South Bend, IN, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2026, in the same town where he was born on April 30, 1982. Known for his infectious humor and love for sports, Jonathan lived a life marked by joy, laughter, and an unwavering devotion to his family.
Jonathan was the cherished son of Jonathan Alexander Sr. (Jacqueline), and the late Edith Jones. He was a beloved husband to Laura (Rader), with whom he shared 23 years of marriage filled with love, partnership, and mutual respect. Together, they raised three wonderful children: Brittany Jones of Port Ritchie, FL, Alexa Williams (Tee Shawn Sr.) of South Bend, IN, and Brayden Alexander, also of South Bend, IN. Jonathan's legacy continues through his five adored grandchildren: Jaxon, Kaiden, Skarlett, Phoenix, and Tee Shawn Jr., who brought immense joy and pride to his life.
Jonathan's sense of humor was a cornerstone of his personality. He had a knack for telling jokes that could light up any room and bring a smile to even the most stoic of faces. His laughter was contagious, and his ability to find humor in the everyday made every moment with him memorable.
A passionate sports enthusiast, Jonathan's loyalty to the NC Tarheels, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and he also loved WWE wrestling as much as many other sports. He enjoyed not only watching games but also engaging in lively discussions about his favorite teams' strategies and performances. His love for sports was more than just a hobby; it was a way of connecting with friends, family, and fellow fans.
Described by those who knew him best as funny, Jonathan's humor was a gift that he freely shared with the world.
