Jordynn “Jorgie” D. Smith, 2 years old, transitioned to be with the Lord, Thursday, August 12, 2021.

Jordynn was born March 30, 2019, in Toledo, Ohio, to Treyonna Smith and Jordan Smith

Jorgie was the love of her parent’s life.  She was also loved by everyone that met her and interacted with her.  She was a happy, loving baby girl that loved to watch her favorite shows on her tablet, or any phone that was available to her.  She loved Cocomelon, and Elmo.  Jorgie would ignore any incoming calls when she was engaged in her favorite shows. 

She loved playing with her siblings and going for car rides.  Jorgie had a great healthy appetite.  She was always full of fun, love, and laughter.

Left to mourn her passing is her mother, Treyonna Smith, her father, Jordan Smith, sisters, Jamyia Smith, Hope Massey, brothers, Javaar Winters Jr., and Jermaine White.  Maternal grandfather, Ecker (Gloria) Alexander, paternal grandmother, Noriea Carrington (Keith Lusby), paternal grandfather, Jerry Smith.  Two special aunts, Arshayla Smith, Yolanda (Eboni) Lott, also a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends, who will miss her dearly.

Preceding her in death is a maternal grandmother, Arkisha D. Smith, maternal great-grandmother, Joan Smith, and a maternal great-grandfather, Samuel Lake.

Funeral service for Jorgie will be at 12:00PM, (Noon) Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Palmer Funeral Home - West Chapel, 2702 Lincolnway West, South Bend, Indiana 46628.  Visitation will begin at 11:00AM on Saturday at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
