Josefine M. (Ludwig) Craft

Josefine M. Craft, 74 years old, passed away at 6:19 p.m. on Monday, May 16, 2022 at her home.  Josefine was born on August 13, 1947 in Heidelberg, Germany, and has lived in our local area since 1969, moving from Germany. Josefine worked at Kroger supermarket in Mishawaka and the adjoining deli for over 35 years.

Josefine is survived by her two children, Mark Craft of South Bend, and Melony (Albert) Anderson of Nappanee; five grandchildren, Marcus (Nikki) Craft, Jr., Anthony (Madison) Davis, Gavyn T. (Angel) Craft, Alexander Craft, and Gabby Anderson; and six great-grandchildren, Braxton Craft, Jackson Craft, Ava Craft, Abel Emery, Keegan Davis, and Bella Davis. Josefine is also survived by her sister, Monica of Germany, and sister-in-law, Margret of Germany. Josefine was preceded in death by her son, Danny Craft; parents, Otto and Müller Ludwig; two brothers, Bruno and Otto Ludwig; and her former husband, Thomas Craft.

Private services will be held. Palmer Funeral Home-Hickey Chapel, South Bend, is assisting the family.
