Joshua Paul Carew

Joshua “Josh” Paul Carew, age 39, of Mishawaka, Indiana, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, August 3, 2026.

Josh was born on September 9, 1986, in Chicago Heights, Illinois, to Sandra (David) Combs and Michael Carew. He attended Penn High School and went on to work as a security guard, dedicating himself to providing for those he loved.

Above all else, Josh will be remembered as a good father. His son was an important part of his life, and the love he had for him will remain a lasting part of his legacy. He will be remembered by his family and friends for the time they shared, the memories they created, and the love that connected them.

Josh is survived by his son, Colin Carew; his mom, Sandra (David) Combs; his brother, Zachary Carew; and other loving family members and friends who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Carew.

No services are being held at this time, Palmer Funeral Home – River Park Chapel, South Bend, IN, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Josh’s life will be remembered for the love he had for his son and for the impact he made on those closest to him.
