Joshua Vaughn Obituary

Joshua Thomas Vaughn, aged 44, of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away on March 15, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, dedication, and joy. Born on January 19, 1982, in Birmingham, Joshua was a man whose life was marked by his love for his family, his passion for his work, and his unwavering support for the University of Alabama football team.

Joshua was predeceased by his father, Larry Wayne Vaughn, and is survived by his loving mother, Frances Ruth (Duvall) Vaughn. He was a devoted father to his daughter, Emily Vaughn, and his son, Jacob Vaughn, both of Florida. His brother, Jack Vaughn (Neely) of Three Oaks, Michigan, will fondly remember Joshua's spirited nature and the close bond they shared.

After earning his BA degree, Joshua embarked on a successful career and became a respected Senior Construction Manager with Amazon Web Services. His professional achievements were numerous, and he was known for his leadership, work ethic, and the ability to inspire his team to excel

Joshua's interests were as diverse as they were passionate. A true Crimson Tide fan, he rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on his team, reveling in the camaraderie and spirit of the game. His love for golf was more than just a hobby; it was a way for him to connect with friends, enjoy the outdoors, and challenge himself. Joshua's musical talent shone through when he played the drums, a skill he took great pride in.

An animal lover at heart, Joshua's compassion extended to all creatures great and small. His kindness and gentle manner made him a friend to animals everywhere, and his pets were considered a cherished part of his family.

Joshua's life was a testament to the things he valued most: family, friendship, and the pursuit of happiness in all aspects of life.
