Joyce Beisel Obituary
Joyce Dianne Beisel, 74, residing in Granger, passed away at 3:30 am Wednesday, February 12, 2020 in the Village at Arborwood. She was born June 16, 1945 in Silver Spring, Maryland to the late Wilmer Wilson and Doris M. (Mullineaux) Rich.
Joyce is survived by her three loving daughters, Lisa D. (Chad) Klunder of Montvale, NJ, Laura A. (Justin) Sears of Canton, GA and Lynda M. (Joshua) Conner of Grand Island, NE; five beautiful grandchildren, Alexandra R. Sears, Allyson D. Malin, Dylan C. Sears, Kennedy G. Conner and Jackson R. Conner; one sister, Joan D. (David) Longobardo of Greensboro, NC; and one brother, Gary W. (Florence) Rich of Gaithersburg, MD; as well as one niece, Michelle (Brent) Beachley, and one nephew, Paul Rich, both of Gaithersburg, MD. She is also survived by the father of her children, Louis Allen Beisel of Mishawaka. Joyce was preceded in death by her son, David A. Beisel in August 1977.
Joyce was a member of River of Life Community Church in Elkhart. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and time spent with her children and grandchildren.
Funeral services for Joyce will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, February 15, 2020 in the Palmer Funeral Home – Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend. Graveside services and burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may visit with the family from 9:00 – 10:00 am Saturday in the funeral home prior to services.
Expressions of sympathy in memory of Joyce may be donated to the Center for Hospice Care, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
