Juan Carlos Pelayo-Martinez

Juan Carlos Pelayo-Martinez, 36 years old, passed away Saturday morning, May 12, 2018 in South Bend. Juan Carlos was born November 23, 1981, in Guadalajara, Jalisto, Mexico to Carlos Pelayo and M. Socorro Martinez Reyes, who both survive him.

Juan Carlos is also survived by his wife, Leticia Avila; two daughters, Frida Jazlyn Pelayo and Mayo Itzel Pelayo; two sons, Elian Gael Pelayo and Carlos Uriel Pelayo; a sister, America Pelayo-Martinez; and a brother, Guillermo Pelayo-Martinez.

Friends may visit from 4-8 PM on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Palmer Funeral Homes-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan Street, South Bend, with a Rosary at 7:30.  Father Kevin Bauman will officiate a Church service celebrating Juan Carlos’ life on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Our lady of Hungary, 735 W. Calvert Street, South Bend, with burial to follow at Southlawn Cemetery, 61300 US 31 South, South Bend.
