Juandalyn Lafaye Bridges

Juandalyn Lafaye Bridges, 57, passed away peacefully at Memorial Hospital in South Bend on February 7th, 2020. Juandalyn was born on March 2nd, 1962 in Denver, CO to the late Olon Bridges and Eleanor (Maury) Douglas. 

Growing up and spending her childhood years in Pascagoula, MS; Juandalyn graduated from Pascagoula High School, and later received her degree from Holy Cross College of South Bend, IN. Juandalyn, affectionately known as "Juanie" to family and friends, always wore her big beautiful signature smile, and could not help but spread joy to everyone she came into contact with. She was very kind and compassionate and a natural born caregiver. Juandalyn dedicated much of her life to caring for family members and her children and was a dearly loved mother. While, biologically, she had seven children, she was "Mama" to so many others whom she loved  as if they were her own. She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her. 

Juandalyn is survived by her loving children: Jacquelyn (Matthew) Doxie King of Columbus, OH, Roger (Kayla) Bridges of Elkhart, IN, Rosalyn Dikes of South Bend, Kendra Dikes of Indianapolis, IN, Argenia Dikes of Mishawaka, IN, Kevin Dikes, Jr. of Mishawaka, IN, and Justin Bridges of Columbus, OH; seven grandchildren; sisters; Joy  (Robert) Walters of Newport News, VA, Jacquelyn (Wilson) Mosley of South Carolina, Jerilyn Bridges of South Bend and Rosalyn Bridges of San Luis Obispo, CA; and brothers; Roger (Caroline) Bridges of Los Angeles, CA, Roderick Bridges of Atlanta, GA and Justin (Taiya) Wright of Pascagoula, MS. 

Services for Ms. Juandalyn Bridges will be held on February 22nd, 2020 at 11:00am at Holy Cross Church, 1050 Wilber St. South Bend, IN. Palmer Funeral Homes – Guisinger Chapel, 3718 South Michigan Street, South Bend, IN is assisting the family with arrangements.
