Judith Lynn Andem

Judith L. Andem, 81, of South Bend, died Sunday February 14, 2021. She was born in Mishawaka on September 20, 1939, the daughter of (the late) Roy and Eleanor (Kronewitter) Church. Judy graduated from Washington Clay High School with the Class of ’57; she worked in furniture sales for many years and enjoyed interior design, cooking for family & friends, spending time with her grandchildren and caring for her pet cat, Ellie. In addition to her parents, Judy was also preceded in death by her twin brother, Robert Church and a sister, Shirley Wooten. She is survived by her son, Joe Minnick of South Bend; her sister, Patricia Grooms of Granger; her grandchildren, Uriah Minnick of Elkhart, Benjamin C.R. Minnick of Osceola, Jessica Hentz of Edwardsburg MI, Michael Christlieb in North Carolina and her great-grandchildren, Quinlan, Alena, Natalie, Christina and Kelty.  Private burial at a later date in Olive Cemetery. Arrangements through Palmer Funeral Home-River Park Chapel, 2528 Mishawaka Ave. in South Bend. The family’s preferred memorial is the Humane Society of St. Joseph Co., 2506 Grape Rd, Mishawaka IN 46545.
