Karen Finley Obituary

Karen E. Finley, 79, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Memorial Hospital. She was born in LaPorte, IN on September 5, 1941 to the late Arthur & Arlene (Zolman) Mounce.

Karen and her husband Roger owned and operated Ewing Café for over 30 years where she and her family met some of their dearest friends. Karen was a loving mother and grandmother, and was an avid Notre Dame fan.

Karen is survived by her son, Michael Finley of South Bend, and her three grandsons, Michael Jr., Joseph, and Andrew Finley all of South Bend. She also leaves behind her niece, Rhonda Jones of LaPorte, IN. She is preceded in death by her husband Roger Finley, her daughter, Susan Finley, and her sister, Peggy Jones.

No services will be held at this time. The family will be holding a Celebration of Life at a later date. Burial will take place at Southlawn Cemetery. Palmer Funeral Home - Guisinger Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
