Kathleen O. (DeLong) Bloomer

Kathleen O. Bloomer, 99 of Mishawaka, IN., passed away at 11:25 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at Creekside Village.

Kathleen was born on February 13, 1925 in Mishawaka to Orville A. and Fern O. (Culp) DeLong.

On March 26, 1949 in Mishawaka, Kathleen married Harry R. Bloomer. Harry preceded Kathleen in death on August 20, 1992. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a son in law, Edward Heim.

Kathleen is survived by her children; Diane Heim of Mishawaka, Larry D. Bloomer of Plymouth, IN and Dale R. (Diana) Bloomer of Anderson, IN ., grandchildren; Larry A. Cook Jr., Deborah (Claudio) Stornelli, Lisa (Eric) Harber, Steven Bloomer, Stephanie Bloomer and Zach Bloomer and great grandchildren; Taylor Lucas, Ava Johnson, Emma Harber, Avery Harber and Luke Harber.

Services for Kathleen will be on Saturday, May 4, at 11:00 a.m. at the Palmer Funeral Home – Bubb Chapel, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka with a visitation being held one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola, IN.
