Kendaleth "Kent" VanLue Obituary
Kendaleth Kine “Kent” VanLue, residing in Buchanan, MI; passed away at 12:07 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5, 2021 at Memorial Hospital of South Bend. He was 57 years old.
He was born September 18, 1964 in Kirksville, MO, a son of Jack & Katheryn (Wright) VanLue, and has lived in Buchanan for the past 25 years.
On November 14, 2003 at Bethel Apostolic Tabernacle, Buchanan, he was united in marriage to Betty A. “Bett” Lucas who survives. He is also survived by his parents Jack & Katheryn VanLue of Buchanan, his daughter, Brooklyn Reshay (Rob) Ross of Benton Heights, MI; and his two sons, Kendaleth Chadwick (Sarah) VanLue, and Jason Kent (Kendra) VanLue, both of Buchanan. Also surviving are his eight adorable grandchildren, Clayton, Anna and Wyatt VanLue, Daniel, Cayden and Christopher Ross, and Kingsley and Landon VanLue, his sister, Leisha (Mike) Clanton of Buchanan, and his brother Courageous (Carrie) VanLue of Niles, along with his sister-in-law, Lesia VanLue of Milford, IN.
He was preceded in death by a brother Daniel VanLue.
Mr. VanLue worked in digital display solutions with Samsung Electronics. He was a member of Bethel Apostolic Tabernacle in Buchanan. He was a very creative and artistic person. He loved working in his yard, tackling home projects, playing basketball, and shopping online. He was a dedicated servant of God, loved his family dearly, and most of all was the best Papa to his grandchildren.
Services celebrating Kendaleth VanLue’s life will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, at Bethel Apostolic Tabernacle, Buchanan. Rev. Paul Deeds will officiate. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the Church.
