Larry Joseph Kubsch Sr.

Larry Joseph Kubsch, Sr. passed away peacefully on September 10, 2023, at the age of 77 in his beloved hometown of South Bend, Indiana. Born on September 4, 1946, to John D. and Helen J. (Graybarz) Kubsch, Larry spent his entire life in the community he loved so dearly.

Larry was a graduate of a local high school and went on to serve his country in the United States Army. His dedication, courage, and sense of duty were proudly displayed during his time of service and carried on throughout his life. After his honorable discharge, Larry worked as a Machinist at Adapto, Inc. until retirement.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, John and Helen Kubsch, his daughter, Stacy M. Kubsch, his sister, Karen Laros, and his brother, Johnnie Kubsch. Larry is survived by his four sons, Joseph, Mitchell, Larry, and Wayne Kubsch, along with ten grandchildren and many great-grandchildren who will forever cherish his memory. He also leaves behind his sisters, Sharon Leedy (Ray) and Pamela McCarty (Don), and his brother, David Kubsch (Sue).

Larry was a long-standing member of St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church where he found solace and community in his faith. Larry was also a Bingo fanatic.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 15, 2023 at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church, 54191 N Ironwood Rd, South Bend, IN 46635.  Visitation will be held one hour prior at the church.
