Laurie Ann Snyder (née Forrester), 59, of South Bend, IN passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 9:20 a.m. in her home after battling cancer.
Laurie was born October 18, 1962 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Norma (née Cormany) and Daniel Forrester, Jr. She was employed by REAL Services, Inc. of South Bend as a Billing and Data Specialist. She was a graduate of Hinsdale High School, Hinsdale, New Hampshire in 1980. She was married to William "Bill" Snyder on July 1, 1995 in South Bend, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by a grandfather; D. Woodrow Forrester, a grandmother; Mildred Forrester (née Miller), a grandmother; Gladys Cormany (née Sours), and her mother; Norma Namislo (née Cormany).
Laurie loved the outdoors (growing up in New Hampshire), all of the pets she has had over the years, music (especially The Carpenters), playing softball, bowling, playing bingo, coffee and Mountain Dew, genealogy and taking her chance with scratch off lottery tickets.
Laurie is survived by her husband Bill Snyder of South Bend, IN, four daughters; Caitlin, Alexis and Samantha of Indianapolis, IN and Victoria of South Bend, IN, a son; Joshua Forrester of Indianapolis, two grandchildren; Lucas and Colton Forrester, her father; Daniel (Sally) Forrester, Jr. of Ft. Wayne, IN, two sisters; Linda (Robert) Poortenga of Medaryville, IN and Lisa (Larry) Longshore of Arkansas City, KS, one brother; Daniel (Rena) Forrester, III of Contoocook, NH, a step-father; Robert (Deborah) Namislo of Ocala, FL and numerous nieces and nephews.
She touched many lives and will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
Services will be held on Wednesday July 6, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. with Reverend Bob Vale officiating at Palmer Funeral Home, Guisinger Chapel. There will be a live stream of the service at https://youtu.be/UB9Pz13UaSk.
