Leona G. (Weis) Wagner

Leona G. Wagner, 95, of Mishawaka, IN passed away at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Golden Living Center Foutainview Place Mishawaka.

Leona was born on July 28, 1926 in Mishawaka to Leo J. and Daisy Dell (Jodan) Weis.

Leona married Stanley L. Fischer in 1949 and he preceded her in death in 1961. Leona married Bernard L. Wagner in 1966 and he preceded her in 1990. Leona was also preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Leonard Weis.

Leona is survived by her daughter, Ann M. Snider of Mishawaka, two grandchildren; Karen (Timothy) Minarik of South Bend and Paul Likes of Mishawaka, a great granddaughter; Samantha Minarik of South Bend and her sister, Elsie Doyle of Wakarusa, IN.

Leona graduated from Mishawaka High School and worked at Ball Band for 5 years and Notre Dame Laundry Service. She was a member of St. Anthony De Padua Catholic Church and TOPS.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Anthony De Padua Catholic Church, 2320 East Jefferson Blvd. South Bend where visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time.
