Leroy Clark, II

Mr. Leroy Clark II passed away peacefully at his residence in South Bend, IN on Tuesday, September 15, 2020. He was born to the union of Leroy and Jessie Clark on November 7, 1953, in South Bend, IN.

Leroy lived in South Bend his entire life. He attended and later graduated from JobCorp, then went straight into the United States Marine Corp Armed Forces, proudly serving from 1975 to 1983.  He was later employed at the AM General military plant for many years, and was still employed at his time of passing.

Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Jessie Clark; Uncle Lewis; Uncle James; son Anthony Clark; his fiancée Toni Michelle Green.

He is survived by his children: Kendall Clark of North Carolina; Tranace Clark of North Carolina, Shawn Clark, Malcolm Donaldson, Jalen Cullens, Leroy Clark III, Malik Clark and Jamil Clark; sisters Bertha King of Chicago, IL, Ella Clark of Rullville, MS, Clyida JP Townsend of Rullville, MS; brothers Roy (Viola) Carr of Rullvill, MS, David Sophomore Carr of Rullville, MS, Robert Silver Carr of Rullville, MS, Robert Earl Carr of Rullville, MS, Melvin (Flecia) Carr of Cleveland, MS, Charles Carr of Chicago, IL; grandchildren Lil Shawn, Shawntavia, Jermarlin, Jacola, Anthony, Lauren, Devin, Bishop Khori, Kaidence, Destiny, D’Asia Vermeiche, Hassan, Leah, Nisha, T’niya, Kendra, Kendall Jr., Kaimen Kaani, Alexavier, Zyrrik, Ny’Asia, Aniyah, Camerie; as well as a host of nephews, nieces and cousins; special best friends Donald Braiser, Harold, Karen Green, Dameka (Tameko Northern); special daughter-in-law Kamara Gathright; as well as many good friends at AM General.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 28, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Palmer Funeral Homes - West Chapel, 2702 Lincoln Way West, South Bend, IN 46628.
