Leslie G. Selig, 91, of Granger, IN., formerly of South Bend, passed away at 1:42 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 2026 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center Mishawaka.
Leslie was born on February 25, 1935, in Charles City, Iowa to Clarence G. and Letha M. (Rizer) Selig.
On October 22, 1955, in South Bend Leslie married Beverly J. Miller. Beverly survives along with two daughters; Debra (Bill) Cook and Dawn (Terry) Powell, grandchildren; Paul Kurdys, Anthony Kurdys, Shannon Wynn, Adam Severns, Talia Bauer and Carson Jacobs, great grandchildren; Aurelia Kurdys, Alyssa Wynn, Colton Wynn, Brooks Wynn, Caleb Bauer and Micah Bauer, his sister, Shirley Jones.
Leslie was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Douglas B. Selig, his daughter, Dana Jacobs and his brother, Harold L. Selig.
Leslie graduated from South Bend John Adams High School in 1953. He served in the U.S. Army and worked for Super Steen Redi Froz in sales for 48 years. He was a member of Albright United Methodist Church in Mishawaka; a member of the Council Oak Lodge 745, F.&AM. and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Visitation for Leslie will be on Thursday, April 2, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Palmer Funeral Home – Bubb Chapel, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka with a Masonic Service at Council Oak Lodge 745, F.&AM. at 6:00 p.m.
Funeral services will take place at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 3 at the Palmer Funeral Home – Bubb Chapel with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Pastor Brenda Burnworth will officiate the services with burial to follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park in Granger, IN.
