Lindsay Huegel Sniadecki, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully in her hometown of South Bend, IN on November 10, 2023, following a brave battle with breast cancer. Born on December 15, 1982, to Matthew and Terri Huegel, Lindsay was a shining light in the lives of everyone who knew her, known for her kindness, friendliness, and gentle spirit.
Lindsay was a devoted mother to her two sons, Aiden and Aaron Wills. Her sons were her world, and she took immense pride in their accomplishments. She instilled in them her values of kindness, compassion, and resilience, leaving a lasting legacy in their hearts.
In addition to her sons, Lindsay is also survived by her parents, Matthew and Terri Huegel, her brother, Michael (Kayla) Huegel, nephews, Dalton, Alexander and Bruce Huegel, Nieces, Lillian and Hope Huegel. Aunts and Uncles, Mark, (Carla) Huegel. Bruce (Mary) Huegel, Brian (Briannne) Huegel, Dennis Huegel, Doug (Lana) Magill, Kathleen (Dan) Brady, Chris (Lyzz) Marjason, Adam (Jenny) Marjason, Kim (Don) Hilligoss, Mark Taylor, as well as her grandfather, Phil (Joanna) Marjason, Fiance, Troy White, and many beloved cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Linda Marjason, grandfathers, Douglas Magill and Terry Taylor, and grandparents, William and Patricia Huegel.
Lindsay's professional life was characterized by the same compassion and dedication she brought to her personal relationships. As a Case Manager at Indiana Health Centers, Lindsay touched countless lives. Her co-workers admired her for her unwavering commitment to her work and her ability to bring a sense of calm and comfort to those in need. She was a beacon of hope and an embodiment of strength for many.
Lindsay's interests extended beyond her professional life. She loved spending time with her sons, exploring the outdoors, and making the most of every moment she had with her loved ones. She was a beacon of positivity, always seeking to uplift those around her and encourage them to see the beauty in every day.
Lindsay's passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her. Yet, her spirit lives on in the memories she created and the love she shared. Her kindness, friendliness, and gentle nature were a testament to her character, and these qualities will be remembered fondly by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
