Lisa R. Rough

Lisa Rose Rough, 56 years old, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at her home.  Lisa was born on October 10, 1966 in South Bend and has lived in Walkerton since 1997.  On April 19, 1997 in Washington Township, Lisa and George Robert Rough were united in marriage. 

Lisa is survived by her husband, George, of 26 years and their two daughters, Cassie Rough of Ft. Wayne and Hailey Rough of Indianapolis; parents, Karl “Bud” and Rose Ann (Fox) Master, Jr. of Monterey; and two brothers, Chad (Mindy) Master of Argos and Barry (Kirsten) Master of Culver.

Lisa worked at Culver Military Academy for the past 40 years. Lisa attended Ancilla College and graduated with an Associate’s Degree. She loved spending time with her family as well as her four-legged kids. She enjoyed camping and riding the trails in the Razr with friends. Lisa was an antique enthusiast with a passion for music boxes and anything Winnie the Pooh. She was always on the hunt for a great bargain.

 A private graveside service will be held at Tyner Cemetery.  Per Lisa’s wishes, there will be a  Celebration of Life gathering for family and friends on October 14th at the Rough residence in Walkerton. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Lisa may be donated to River Bend Cancer Services, 3516 E.
